Time to hook up the compressors for the main fridge. First, lets get out all the tools we need, open up the floorboards, and see what has been done.
The tubes are pre-charged with refrigerant and feature self-sealing fittings on the ends. Which means that (in theory) all I have to do is connect the fittings and turn on the unit.
I am using several wrenches because I don't want to bend or kink the copper tubing while I tighten the fitting.
All the wiring goes into a waterproof junction box to protect the connections.
In the aft-most compartment (on the left side of the above photo) there is a strainer and pump. This is the drain for the fridge. When it is time to defrost and clean the fridge, just flip the switch and the water will be pumped out.
The fridge drain goes directly into the disposal unit under the sink which drains directly overboard.
