Kevin, who sold us our boat came over to check our progress. He was happy with our build-out so far, but when he saw that I was thinking of using wood inside the fridge box he gave me a very firm, "nope". He explained that wood, even when covered in epoxy will sweat and absorb moisture from the changing temperatures and will rot out in a year. Kevin typically knows what he's talking about and since he offered to give me a hand making the panels on his bench I was very willing to take on the project.
