Sasha has been burning the candle at both ends this past month. He has been working a desk job on St. Thomas and in the mornings, evenings, and weekends has still been building a boat with me. Poor guy! This is how he spent this past weekend - sticking the hatch back onto the boat and grinding paint into the night!
Once the hatch was in place Sasha set to work with a grinder to remove the paint and fairing that had bubbled because of the heat from the welding. Once we get to metal we will spray it with zinc chromate to seal the metal and act as a primer for the epoxy faring we will use to patch up the back.
