Not much makes sense on a boat. Until you dig a little deeper. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the chair-and-a-half (aka. couch) will be built over top of our main breaker panel. We've spent the past few days laying out and cutting the side of the couch to accept all the breaker boards and control panels.
First we cut bits of paper to the size of each panel we wanted to mount, then we spent some time rearranging them over and over.

Next, Sasha began fitting each component into it's hole.
We have more panels than space on the bottom of the couch, so we made a pop out section on the top for shallow switches and controls that we will want to assess more often.
Lastly, Sasha began laying out the wires.
As we were walking out the door to meet some friends for dinner I looked at the couch and said "Ugh. Sasha, it looks like our couch puked spaghetti." Without missing a beat, Sasha replied "Wow, what have you been feeding it?!?"
