Tortola has had her share of rain in the past few days, and it looks like more is headed our way. The list of "things to do outside" is growing but while Sasha has been working in the engine room I've kept myself busy with odd projects.
The old raw water pump on the newly painted engine had a history of leaking. I got the old pump off in about ten minutes. Feeling proud of myself I tried to put the new one on. Two hours and lots of frustration later I was ready to take an angle grinder to the new pump because I swore it did not fit correctly. Sasha calmly bolted it in place and smiled while explaining that it's a press fit component.

After haggling with the engine… and losing. I decided to get back to something I'm good at and whipped out some shelves in the head.
